The hotel's location is excellent, being centrally based for shopping and close to the train station. The staff were welcoming and friendly, although the breakfast options were not the best. The rooms varied in size but were cozy and comfortable, overall offering good value for money. The hotel's facilities were convenient for travelers, with a great location for exploring the city.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were on the small side but clean and comfortable, with an amazing view across the rooftops to the water. The service was welcoming and helpful, although there was a minor inconvenience with the noise. The location was ideal for exploring Edinburgh, but the price may not have matched the experience perfectly. The dining experience was decent but not outstanding, offering a variety of options. The facilities were satisfactory, adding to a comfortable stay.

The hotel had some ups and downs during my stay. The rooms were really big and very comfortable, but had a slight musty smell in the bathroom. The service was a mix - they weren't interested when I asked for a lower floor room, but overall, the staff were very professional and helpful. The location was quite good, ideal for those using the tram from the airport and close to major shopping areas. The dining experience was not up to the four-star standard, with a double charge on breakfast, although it was reasonably priced at £10 per head. Despite this, the self-service option was still good, though some items ran out. Facilities were standard.

The hotel offers spacious and modern rooms but lacks peace and quiet due to its location at the very top of the building with 100 steps up from the main floor. The service is top-notch with very helpful and friendly staff, although some confusion about breakfast inclusion was noted. The location is excellent, right off the tram from the airport and ideal for exploring the main sights with easy access to transport but may experience noise from adjacent construction. The dining experience was satisfactory with a good selection but lacking breakfast included in some reservations. Overall, a decent option with a few drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms, although spacious and modern, may lack peace and quiet. The bathroom is tiny, and the location at the very top of the building with 100 steps up can be tiring.
Service
8.0
The service is excellent with really nice and always helpful staff, even during busy times. However, there was a bit of uncertainty about included breakfast.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic, right off the tram from the airport and a short walk from major sights. However, noise from an adjacent building site and the need to pass through public areas may be inconvenient.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience offers a good selection with some positive surprises like a full English breakfast served at the table on Saturdays, but be aware that breakfast may not always be included in reservations.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities are decent, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the location was ideal for exploring both New Town and Old Town Edinburgh, the room was a bit of a letdown due to the constant noise from traffic and trams. The service was impeccable, with staff always ready to help, but the dining experience fell short in terms of value for money. Overall, a mixed experience with some highlights and some drawbacks.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was compact and located in the basement under a sloping roof. The Harry Potter-esque decor and selection of books added a unique touch, but the noise from traffic and corridors made it hard to relax.
Service
9.0
The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and polite. They were always available to assist with any questions or requests, making my stay more comfortable.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was great for exploring both New Town and Old Town Edinburgh. It was convenient to access from the airport via tram but parking was a challenge, especially during the Fringe Festival.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience at the hotel was a bit overpriced for the offerings. The breakfast spread was decent but didn't quite justify the cost, especially with other dining options nearby.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had basic facilities that met my needs during the stay.
